Hoity tote

I don't like the punny name, but I like the light material and fun colors of Tote le Monde. I'm on a search for a small tote or something that is super easy for throwing snacks in, and these might be it. Them. Whatever.

Atchoo!

Look at the round Kleenex! I love it. First of all, I like that the container is round, because it's so not useful but so much more interesting than square or rectangular.

Secondly, the prints are super cute. I haven't seen this in the store yet, though.

Just saturate the flat brew basket, already

OK, so KitchenAid, if you're going to talk like this, I think our relationship might have to end:

"JavaSpa® full-dispersion showerhead evenly saturates the flat brew basket for optimal flavor."

I mean, give me a break.

Yet your products are so hot. I don't even drink filter coffee and I still love this.

Go tell aunt Rody

We recently acquired (garage sale) a Rody. Like this, except ours is red, and has a detachable rocking base. Apparently, they have health benefits (?) but the main thing is that it's so damn cute. Really Rody is a yoga ball in a funny shape.

Why don't they make it in my size

This is just gorgeous! I adore it. A leather seat and the headlight works. Can't you just imagine zipping down to the corner store on it?

More pavement

Another stealth stencil to make my day a happy one. (Although I shouldn't just go around with my eyes on the pavement, of course.)

The other home depot

A friend turned me on to Repro Depot. There's almost too much covetable stuff, but I had to make a special mention of this dress. I would wear this dress myself, if it came in larger than toddler sizes.

I am unoriginal

It's pretty uncool of me to blog something I just saw today in an Urban Baby mail, but I really do like this Simply Sarah cosmetics case an awful lot. Plus, it's plastic-lined (you know, drool). I wouldn't use it for cosmetics, of course, but it would be an awfully cute 'extra clothes' pack.

My imaginary kitchen

My imaginary kitchen is a place of pretty blue-green tiles and nice 1950s-style cream appliances like this.

Yes, well, don't try the tuna

I had food poisoning. I will spare you the details.

Beyond cool.

I love everything on and about Cool Microphones. I mean, those mics are cool. Just cool. Incredibly cool. Beyond cool...and so covetable!

I even like the vacuum tube T-shirt, and I'm not really a hi-fi person. There's something always so attractive about a nice technical drawing.

8 x 8

I have a lot of fun browsing wine. Yes, I like to drink it, but I'm really into the labels. Take this Cellar No. 8 I got at TJs. That numeral is just so sexy!

Twiggy

I saw these in the window at Neiman Marcus last night. So pretty, but maybe better on canvas than on china?

Dump

Not like I think people should be spending $225 on baby toys, but isn't this pretty?

And on the street... #2

I love the idea of fun stencils for the sidewalk. I suppose that technically it's illegal, but they're really nice. Why not liven up the day of someone walking with their head down? I appreciate that someone took the time to do this.

And on the street...

I haven't been in the shops recently, but I am trying to keep an eye on nice stuff I see in the world, on the streets. With the aid of my new camera phone, which takes pretty decent photos.

I love movie theater marquees -- not an original statement, but hey, I'm honest. This is a rundown little place, but look at those lights!
