To Infinity and beyond




I really like the retro wall clocks by Infinity, even if everything else they make is bone-shatteringly hideous. There are a bunch on the wall in one of the nearby hardware stores and they are all pretty snazzy. When my five-buck IKEA clock dies...

    The light-colored one reminds me of the one in my grandmother's kitchen. But I bet it doesn't go tick tick tick.

    I wonder if kids grow up now not even understanding why we say clocks go tick-tock?

    That's kind of weird to think...

    Actually, my cheapo IKEA one does sort of tick. It goes 'chunk, chunk.' Quietly.
