Eco-cheerful

I really like these notebooks from ecojot. I also like that the designer likes dogs. Nothing to do with anything, I know...

Over medium, please

I feel like I don't need to keep this blog up, I just need to point people (parent-types, at least) in the direction of Mahar Drygoods all the time.

I mean, this is my favorite breakfast, right here.

Crabby

Halsea's got a new look for the site but the bags are just as covetable. Great crabbies! I really have a soft spot for this designer. I'm just waiting for a sample sale...

Woof

An artist named Ken Bailey seems to paint a lot of dogs. And some cats. But the point is, I wish ads really did look like this. I covet one for my wall...

Viva Vespa

Wow, I haven't seen something this covetable in a long while. And it wasn't even discovered by me! I got a present from someone who seems to know me well...

I didn't know that there's a whole series of objects based on Vespa parts. I'm totally in love.

The headlamp clock, above. Below, the speedometer thermometer!

Spout

We just got this toddler sweatshirt as a present, and it's even better in real life. The whole thing's a little lighter and the colors pop more. But anyway, I love it. And as you can see from the rather distinctly displayed label, it's just Circo.

There's a picture of me in the puddle

It's been raining recently around here, and I realize that someone in my household needs rain boots.

(Not me. No, wait, actually I do. That's another post, though.)

The above are Target.

Below are PluiePluie.

Holiday catalogs, part 3

J. Jill...is that supposed to be someone's name? Janie Julia Juniper Jessica Jill? The catalog is sort of intermittently interesting. I like that they experiment, but sometimes it gets really weird. I know I'm not really in their demographic, but still...

However. However! They have great shoes.

This velvet bag is pretty nice. Not very Jill-y, and it's on sale.

Holiday catalogs, part 2

Land of Nod is another (another!) upscale kids' stuff catalog. It's sort of Pottery Barn meets Melissa and Doug. Fun to look at but I doubt I'll buy anything there.

You could make something almost as good with some oilcloth from the fabric store and a pair of scissors, but these mats are nice. You put them under the easel or kid's table or anywhere that could get messy. So, the entire house, really...

Holiday catalogs, part 1

These are some things I like at Title Nine -- it's a sporty catalog and looking at it makes me feel like a couch potato, even though it is all models pretending to be active. But still, there are things I like a lot.

Nice comfort shoes.

This jacket is cute enough to make me break my edict against against fluffy/shiny/ski-ish.

The bag is by a company called Haiku. I've seen them around in real shops, too.
