Three for three

I'd like to do a little paean to three stores here in San Francisco. All three are lovely and full of covetable things.

Doe, in lower Haight, is small and charming, and has a terrific logo. They have some great baby clothes, like this dear shirt -- I think the pun is sweet. And check out this exquisite wool dress.

Wishbone, in an otherwise not terrifically interesting stretch in the innert Sunset, is like a toy store for grown-ups. Lots of Paul Frank, for example, and toast coin purses. They also carry the ubiquitous (and rightly so) beautiful Beehouse ceramics.

Lavish is a treasure trove of covetable stuff. They have a million tiny cute objects, like bags and pins and cards, plus some of the best of the best of local fab kid clothes. The online shop is but a pale reflection!
