Phone. Yep, yep, yep, yep...

I lived in a place where I used an old-fashioned phone every day -- a real one. So I can say that push buttons are actually a fantastic invention and I don't really miss cranking that dial around again and again.

That said, I miss the shape of the old phones. So I like these.





There's a cordless version, too, but it looks sort of weird. I mean, good idea, I like to roam and tidy up while I'm on the phone, but the execution is funny.

Gymboree

I walk past this store sometimes. I never gave it too much thought -- it just sort of vaguely made me feel guilty for not doing yoga.

But then I saw this gym bag.




All gym bags should look like this! There was an even better pattern in the shop window but I don't see it online.

It's all about the plating

OK, look at these plates. Cute -- I like the shape and the color is good, too.





They're not mine, but I want to find some bowls and mugs that go with them. Not match, of course, I'm all for the Anthropologie fake "oh, I only shop vintage but I'm so terribly artistic" eclectic (but expensive!) thing.

Like these, if the little rim would match, which I'm sure it wouldn't.
