Eat off this

Of course I like this melamine snack kit.

It's by notNeutral, you see. And for sale at Design Public.

Bedtime for cowgirls

Question: How fantastic are these cowboy boot slippers? Answer: entirely so.

They are called Cowgirl Riders and they are by CicciaBella.

Hard pill to swallow?

Made a great find today -- I snapped up (on sale) a pillbox by Karyn Cantor. Mine has the swallow, made in Sweden, on it. Very cute!

I also really like her square rings. They look like they're bakelite, but maybe something else. Anyway, they are pretty covetable. Especially the yellow.

On a blackboard

You can't quite tell how cool these are from the photo. They're chalkboards you can mount on the walls. Chalk is our friend, it doesn't stain.

Toten hosen

I have a soft spot for L.L. Bean, which I always associate with flannel. Still, the clothes in their summer catalogue are truly appalling.

However, this tote is cute and would be good for baby-stuff hauling (it's some waterproof material). It even zips!

Sealed, delivered (I wish)

Oh my god, covetable! Daily Candy alerted me to these and I adore them: pendants and rings by Pyrrha, inspired by old seals (the wax kind). I've always loved seals, and I love heavy silver, and I've also always loved wheat as a pictorial element (seriously). So I'm coveting hard.

Cool it

Thermos, that old standby, is coming out with some cool stuff. This thing on the left is a cooler, and I also saw some lively lunch bags (the Raya line) at Target.

(And for the baby crowd, the talked-about stainless steel sippy.)

Perfect patterns

Lotta Jansdotter is having a sale!

(She is a fabulous designer, don't buy all the good stuff before I do, please. And I chose to post this photo because this weirdly looks so much like me, down to the coffee cup.)

Wake me up before you go-go

Another Notcot steal, but I can't help it. This clock is so covetable in its blend of old and new, with wood shell and LED display, and ipodesque white face. Gorgeous!

(Funny how much the furniture in the shoot looks like classic Eastern European soc-design. I have sat on many a chair of that type!)

Death!

Also from Notcot, this shirt, featuring: Death to Helvetica! (I actually don't mind old Helv' at all, but it's funny. Why only men's styles?)

I just want to add, how thrilled am I to have a post I can tag with "fashion" and "typography" both!

Notcot, my dear

I'm in love with Notcot.org. In serious bloggy love with the fabulous items linked, like this Yneko decal/sticker to label your drawers. I really doubt the utility, but covet the look.

How's this for affordable art? A lovely design, printed on canvas.

Another Etsy find to covet -- this delectable sparrow w. birdhouse charm necklace. Sweet.

Coasting

I swear I could limit myself to Etsy and still find enough covetable things to fill this blog. Like this letterpressed coasters. Letterpress is big on Etsy and there is gorgeous stuff. But since I never use note cards, I like to see something different.

Hanging lovely

I love this etched silver pendant with mum blossoms by Simone Walsh. It's brilliant to put it on red silk. She also has a fabulous blog, check it out. About making things. (I found her via Creature Comforts.)

I love this little tote -- she does a great wristlet, too, but unfortunately not in this pattern.

File it under cute

Did you know that Filofax got cute? I like this print very much, and I know there's more than what's on their website. (And let me just add that I love the name Yard-O-Led, and the pens. Especially the contrast between name and look. Viceroy Pocket, please.)

I adore these Arte Espina rugs. And quite like the name of this online shop! There's about half a dozen I would happily walk on.

I actually don't believe children should be wearing cashmere, at least not if I have to pay for it myself. That being said, love this green cashmere sweater from

, and the hat would make a great topper.

31 Flavors

Can I have this? I think it's cute, and would go well with jeans. I'm acting my age...this store is called Forever 31, no?

Escape from the mothership

So everyone knows Fleurville as the place of fun diaper bags. But this wristlet is seriously covetable even if you don't have a baby. I love the pattern and I know the construction must be sturdy. Probably water-resistant, too.

Via mod*mom, these beautiful bird feeders. They look like eggs...everything looks like eggs at J Schatz's site. Pretty, shiny eggs. I love the eggy banks, too.

Holy moly, I covet this. It's a microwave! I don't even own a microwave, or want one, but I want this one. It's way too cute.

Clutch me

A friend sent me this link -- diaper clutches. They look like they're made out of that sparkly vinyl, perhaps. Inside, there's a pad and room for a couple dipes. Pretty nice!

Take a load off

This chair is actually a kid's chair...hard to see, I know, when there's no frame of reference. But it is, trust me. Or, rather, trust Flying Peas, which is where I saw it.

I really like orange as a kid stuff color. Gets past the gender thing.

I am a sucker for customizable things, and I covet R.E.Load already. Messenger bags by messengers, any way you want it! And so pretty...

On/Off

So I was sent some samples of the new energy drink called G by the VOSS water people. I love the bottle -- glass, yay -- and it has a great feel, but oh! The cap! Horrible silver plastic. Metal is too expensive, of course, but this plastic feels so cheap and is so fakely attempting to be metal that it is awful. They want to be upscale but they missed it with the cap.

I haven't drunk it yet. I think I will make someone else in this household try it first. (Not the kid.)

One thing I nerdily love is that the G looks like a computer's on/off button.

However, the first thing I thought when I saw it was: perfume. It's sort of like the gorgeous Kenzo flower bottle.
