I am an old fogey
What is happening to the world?
All I wanted were some ABC fridge magnets. You know, those multicolored plastic things that we all had as children. I don't want ones that make noise, I don't want them in French, I don't want them in 3D sparkle glitter. And I certainly don't want poetry!
Why do I have to go to Italy to get them?
(Although, now I'm thinking about it, wouldn't it be cool to have Typography Magnets? I could imagine some lovely ones.)

Vocab
This is an appropriate tag for a baby, I think. (I don't like punny names, as I've mentioned, but I do like the way the dot over each "i" is in a contrasting color. Nice letters, too.)

Not really acting my age
I was at a five-and-dime and I saw these plastic animals and bought a few for the kiddo. She is fond of them, but I think I like them more. They're made by the German company Schleich and the figures are very dense and pleasant to touch. The way they look is sort of "naturalistic with a pinch of cute," very covetable, and I long to get a whole set and line them up on my mantelpiece, nose to tail. At this point we have only the elephant, the tiger, and the housecat (cat is MIA, though).
I also rather long to "visit the world of knights".

Welcome, PQ, to the 21st Century
Finally! Paulina Quintana has a web shop.
And most stuff is on sale, too, although they really need to get more items up there. One of the things I love are the great prints, but I have to boost their signature ringer tees, too.

My name, your name
My friend Traci has this fantastic necklace I've long been meaning to write about. I have a thing for personalized jewelry, or personalized anything, really. Heather Moore makes really covetable, beautiful family jewelry. It's all customizable, with or without gems.
Set me up
Sahru pointed out this geeky but sweet shirt. The CMYK one is even geekier!

Keep track
Anna spotted this ingenious and nice-looking way to keep...I was going to say 'organized' but I think that's being a little optimistic. Let's just concentrate on looking good.
